The myths and mistakes in choosing interior paint colours
In my career and experience as both an interior designer and 3 dimensional artist, I have found this true, that light colors play a role, light colors, in and of themselves do NOT necessarily make a room feel larger.
Actually, well placed color within a room can make it seem larger than a room that is finished in a single pale or bright shade.
Clearly we can all agree that as a rule, light colors “bounce” or reflect more light than do dark tones, so obviously a room painted in all light tones will seem brighter than a room painted darker.
